About Me
Clinical Counsellor/Psychotherapist/Counselling Therapist
RPC (CPCA #4285), RCT (ACTA #2757)
Regina, SK
I'm passionate about holding space and being physically, mentally, and emotionally present for everyone I encounter. It is my belief that when we do the deep healing work on ourselves, we are able to live a life that is full of happiness, peace and calm with strength and clarity.
I deeply value and respect the journey that someone may be on, and I find a sense of fulfillment walking alongside them wherever their roads may lead. I'm always in a state of curiosity and awe when working with each of my clients as no two stories are the same, but I believe each person has the same ability to direct their roads to one of healing and growth.
My trauma-informed approach to counselling helps you identify the negative beliefs and behaviours that keep you stuck which in turn helps to help foster and build self-compassion while allowing the pains of your past and present to reduce their hold on you. The focus of my work with clients seeks to answer some fundamental questions such as: What is blocking you from the life of peace you want? What emotional disconnection do you have within yourself and others? How safe do you feel in your body? What somatic responses and feelings are showing up for you in response to memories from the past or triggers in the present? What direction do you want or need to shift your life towards? What actions can you start taking to make this a reality? Exploring these questions helps to understand if you are living in line with your values, how you view or treat yourself, how you treat others, and your overall lifestyle desires. The process of connecting with the parts of ourselves that influence our feelings, desires and ambitions can be fascinating and deeply rewarding work. Through a combination of introspective techniques and action-oriented work, I support you in making real-life changes as well as shifting the internal narratives that your mind holds.
As humans we are forever growing, developing, and evolving, and I serve to stand with you as you take part in life's journey.
